ENVIRONMENTAL REGENERATION

The t-shirt in your hands

has been produced with organic linen

sourced from regenerative agriculture farms

where farmers are using their crops

to sequester carbon from the atmosphere

and rebuild soil fertility,

effectively helping us reverse climate change.

Did you know that 1/3 of the planet's land is severely degraded? According to the UN, the equivalent of a football pitch of soil is eroded every 5 seconds, mostly due to intensive agriculture.

Eroded soils release CO2 to the atmosphere, making intensive agriculture one of the main contributors to global warming. They also don't retain water, making flooding and landslides more likely.

But there's a different way. Regenerative agriculture is helping sequester carbon from the atmosphere and store it in our soils, thus increasing soil fertility and helping stabilise our climate.

At Trace Collective, we believe that the future is regenerative, and that the fashion industry can be a driver for environmental regeneration.

All of our pieces are produced solely with fabrics sourced from regenerative agriculture farms that help sequester carbon from the atmosphere and rebuild soil fertility, and all our clothes are radically transparent on their origin, impact and production costs.

We design for circularity and all our products are fully biodegradable. Your t-shirt has been manufactured with 100% organic linen and stitched with GOTS certified organic cotton thread. So that if you ever no longer want it and cannot pass it on, you can return it to us or bury it in soil, knowing that it'll disappear completely within a few years.

The t-shirt in your hands

was manufactured and screen printed in Spain

contributing to a social economy

that supports women at risk

and preserves local craftsmanship.

Your t-shirt was produced at the Emili Papirer workshop in Spain, a project run by non-profit organization Fundació Roure.

Our workshop provides training and employment opportunities for women at risk and supports them holistically so that they can live more independent and fulfilled lives, something that is the core mission of Fundació Roure.

All the profits from the Emili Papirer workshop are re-invested in the other projects run by non-profit Fundació Roure. To learn more about their work, visit their website: www.fundacioroure.org.

The screen printing was done by hand by Taller Baobag, an artisanal workshop in Spain that hand crafts all their biodegradable inks from organic products.

We fell in love with their fair trade values and their unique craftsmanship. To learn more about their work, visit their website: www.tallerbaobag.es.
